August 5, 2021. Matt was born February 12, 1969 in Victoria, Texas to Bobby Drew Abercrombie and Jeanette Hutto.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Drew Abercrombie. Matthew survived by his wife of nineteen years, Shelly Abercrombie and wife, Holly; sons, Dalton Drew Abercrombie, Georgie and Hunter Crenshaw, grandchildren, Mason, Landon and Kaden Crenshaw; mother and step-father, Jeanette and Gene Shackelford; sister, Amy Abercrombie King and husband Corey King; sister Cara Abercrombie Eckert and husband, Scott; nephew, Andrew King; niece, Rebecca King Mahler and husband Chris; great niece Cora Mahler; nephew, Jackson Eckert and Jeffrey Eckert and wife, Alyssa and mother in-law Sandy Kirbo. Matthew had a multitude of friends he considered family.
He was loved and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life for Matt will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
