Michael Gann Chandler

Michael was born in Tiger, Arizona on May 15, 1946, to Gleston Chandler and Audrey

Palmer. He graduated from high school and continued on to join the U.S Army and

received the Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon,

Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal,

Expert Field Medical Badge, and Driver’s Badge.

Michael was married to Sally on May 29, 1996; they were married 23 years.

Michael worked as a Security Officer for Perot Systems for a number of years until he retired. He enjoyed singing at his church, singing and playing guitar, golf, playing pool, and bowling. He was also actively involved in his church.

Michael is survived by his children, step children, grandchildren, sister, and other family and friends.

Memorial will be held at 2PM June 1, 2025 at First Christian Church, 7301 Miller Road in Rowlett, Texas. Burial will be held at 2:15PM on June 4, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas Texas.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to Lions Club
