With great sadness and even greater love, we say goodbye to Miguel Angel Hernandez — a devoted father, proud grandfather, loving husband, caring brother, and a true friend to so many.
Miguel was the kind of person who gave everything he had to the people he loved — his time, his support, his love, and whatever else he could offer. If you needed help, he was there. No questions asked. That was just who he was — generous, dependable, and kind to the core.
He didn’t need to say a lot for you to feel how much he cared. Miguel was a quiet man, but when he did speak, his dry sense of humor and calm, patient presence always stood out. Those lucky enough to share a conversation with him knew how thoughtful and genuine he really was.
Family was everything to Miguel. His daughter, Indeliza, was the light of his life. He bragged about her every chance he got, and his love for her was clear in every word and every smile. Becoming a grandfather to her two children, Andres and Araceli, brought him so much joy — they lit up his world in a whole new way.
Miguel also chose to be a father to Agustin, and that choice meant the world to both of them. He was a strong and loving father, and Agustin’s four boys, Benjamin, Daniel, Samuel, and David always knew how lucky they were to have him in their lives. Miguel gave them a childhood full of joy and memories they cherish forever.
He deeply loved his wife, Maria Indeliza, and always tried to please her as best he could. Miguel was a proud twin and a wonderful brother. He valued those family bonds deeply and carried them close to his heart throughout his life.
Above all, Miguel will be remembered for his incredible heart. He never asked for anything in return. He just gave — with love, with kindness, and with sincerity. That’s the kind of person he was. And that’s the legacy he leaves behind.
Miguel touched so many lives, and while his absence leaves a hole we can’t fill, his memory lives on in all of us — in our stories, our laughter, and the love we continue to share with one another.
