Mozelle Marie Morgan Tuley

Mozelle Marie Morgan Tuley, age 94, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born September 8, 1926 in Dawson, Texas to Osie and Lunette Chapman. Mozelle was raised in Big Springs, Texas and Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Big Springs High School in 1944. She married Linus Morgan in 1945 and the couple had 5 children and she made her house a home by being a loving, caring homemaker and mother.

In her spare time, Mozelle enjoyed camping, singing, playing 42 as well as all sorts of games, shopping, traveling internationally, animals, teaching Sunday school and babysitting her grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a Christian woman with great faith, caring, kind and ready to help anyone who needed it.

Mozelle is reunited in heaven with her parents, Osie and Lunette Chapman; her husband of 42 years and father of her children, Linus Morgan; her second love, Raymond Tuley; sons, Larry Morgan and Terry Morgan; brothers, Joe Chapman and L.B. Chapman; son-in-law, Ronnie Mitchell (her favorite) and an infant child. She is survived by her children, Diane Greer, David Morgan and wife, Lisa, Sandra Mitchell and Alecia Morgan; stepchildren, Mike Tuley and Lloyd Tuley; grandchildren, Todd, Justin, Kira, Lacey, Ashley,Chris, Amber, Stephanie, Jonathan, Deana, Zach, Chance, Neal, Paschal, Benjamin, Justin and Travis; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members.

A visitation for Mozelle will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149 with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75228.
