Paul "Scooter" Henry

Paul "Scooter" Henry, 64, of Tool, Texas, passed away on November 1, 2025. Scooter was born on March 25, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, to Vester and Beth Henry. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1979. On March 1, 1986, he married Sha Prda, and together they shared 39 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Over the years, Scooter held many different jobs and was truly a jack of all trades-master of none. His main calling, though, was working backstage security at concerts, a job he loved for more than 40 years. Most recently, he worked security at the Majestic Theater in Dallas, alongside Sha. Scooter enjoyed fishing, playing golf with his boys, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vester Henry, and his grandparents, Edwin and Christene Lanning and Vester and Lora Henry. Scooter is survived by his beloved Sha; his sons, Ashton (with Kaitlin and Kalvin) and Aaron (with Alex); his mother, Beth Caperton, and stepdad, Jody Caperton; and his sister, Melanie Pryor, and her husband, Joe Pryor. He is also survived by countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. Scooter will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and stories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
