Rachel Hernandez, our beautiful mother, peacefully passed away on March 31, 2021 at home, surrounded by her children. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 20, 1942 to Domingo and Porfiria Hernandez and was one of 14 children. She is survived by her son, Bernabe Gonzalez, Jr.; and two daughters, Cindy Lira and husband Emilio Lira; Sandy Vasquez, and husband Victor Vasquez; Ma was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 13 great- grandchildren.
