Rosabel Z Gonzalez

Rosabel Zamora Gonzalez, 70, of Forney, TX, passed away on October 1, 2025.

Rosabel was born in CD Miquel Aleman, MX on August 11, 1955, to Reynaldo Zamora and Hilaria Zamora. She graduated from Alice High School in 1973. Rosabel was married to Richard V. Gonzalez on March 22, 1975; they were married 50 years.

Rosabel worked as a master hairstylist for well over 50 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, caring for her plants, and above all she loved spending time with her 10 grandchildren. She was also actively involved in her church and the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Rosabel is preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo Zamora and Hilaria Zamora, her cousin, who was like a brother, Trinidad Garza, and other relatives.

Rosabel is survived by Richard Gonzalez, Paulo Rey Gonzalez (Melissa Corona), Claudia Faucheux (Scott Faucheux), Clarissa Gonzalez (John Connolly), Octavian, Olivia, Isabelle, Clementine, Benjamin, Cypress, Berkley, Lavender, Iris and Israel, Jesus Zamora (Mary Lou Zamora), Raquel Aguirre, Rusbel Zamora (Aleida Zamora), Rosalba Smith (George Smith), Miquel, Jesus Ronando, Rojelio, Aleida, Rusbel, Reyna, Issac, Deyanira, and other family and friends.

Visitation and the service will be held at 1:00 PM on October 9, 2025, at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home 1111 Military Parkway Mesquite, TX 75149. Committal will follow at the DFW National Cemetery on October 13, 2025.
