Ruthie loved bowling. She was an avid bowler for over 30 years, always playing for fun. You could always find her at Don Carters. Whether she was working in the kitchen, bowling with her league, or helping her brother Jimmy with his special bowling league, you knew she was happy there with her bowling family.
She loved laughing and always had a smile. Where ever she was you knew you were going to have fun being with her. She spread her joyful carefree attitude with her close friends, The Golden Girls, leading them on wild evenings filled with singing and laughter at the Wylie Opry.
Ruthie loved her family. No matter who they were, whether related by blood or just a friend, she loved them and opened her heart to them as one of her own family. She loved her brother and her sisters, her many brothers- and sisters-in-law, her cousins, nieces and nephews, her son Ricky, and her daughter Renee, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the countless other people brought into her life by those she loved.
