Vicki Lynn Johnson

Vicki Lynn Johnson, 71, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. Born in Wills Point, Texas, Vicki spent nearly her entire life in Mesquite, where she graduated from Mesquite High School in 1972 and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, kindness toward others, and a deep love for caring for those around her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Scott Johnson and Kevin Johnson; her daughter in love, Kelly Johnson; her grandson, Mason Ryan Johnson; and her granddaughters, Macie Reed Johnson and Breanna Nicole Johnson. She is also survived by her mother, Daphine McDonald; her sisters, Janice Cooper and Lisa Zmolik and husband Donald; her niece, Kim Rasbury and husband Kirk; her nephews, Kyle Cooper, Brandon Zmolik and wife Katie, Jared Zmolik and wife Cara, and Ryne Zmolik; along with numerous great‑nephews and great‑nieces who adored her.

Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Johnson, and her father, Audy McDonald.

For more than 20 years, Vicki dedicated her career to the healthcare field as a medical office assistant, where her compassion, patience, and steady presence touched countless lives. In her spare time, she found joy in cooking and baking—especially her beloved pies, which became a treasured part of every family gathering.

Vicki will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
