Vicki Lynn Nairn passed away on September 10, 2020 after a five-year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Caren Pingleton; mother Tommie English; and father Glenn D. Pingleton. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Donnie Nairn. Other survivors also include sons Monty Nairn and wife Monica of Oak Point; Brandon Nairn and wife Jennifer of Frisco; daughter Normady Nairn of Seagoville; granddaughters Taylor Nairn and Mikayla Nairn of Oak Point; Adrienne Nairn of Frisco; grandsons Austin and Ashton Nairn of Frisco; brother Glenn Pingleton and sister Champ Owens.
Vicki was a lifelong resident of Mesquite. She attended Tisinger elementary, Wilkinson middle school and Mesquite High School.
Her greatest joys in life were Monty and Brandon and her five beautiful grandchildren. She seldom missed one of the boy’s games unless they were both playing at the same time. Vicki was always involved with the boy’s sports teams as either team mom or secretary for the Bronco League at City Lake Park.
When the grandkids started coming along, she was in heaven. She loved those babies with all of her heart and then some. She loved giving gifts at Christmas, birthdays, or just because.
Vicki had a big and generous heart and always tried to help those in need. She was a friend to many and had many friends as well.
She will be greatly missed. We love you Vic.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Vicki’s name.
