He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Max Ernst and Lena Monschke Ernst,

brother, Walter Max Ernst Jr, sister, Mary Ruth Stevens, and nephew, Phillip Ernst.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ruth Estes Ernst, daughters Susan Ernst and Elaine Ernst Schneider, grand daughters Nickie Gonser and Katie Hunt, and great grandchildren Paige, Jackson, Austin, and Lexi, Lorelei, Luke, and Logan.

He is also survived by his brother "Bob" Ernst and wife Delores, their daughter Kim Lane,

her daughter and grandchildren, and sister-in-law Lois Ernst, her daughters Kathy Hinkle and Judy Isbell, and grandchildren, and sister Mary Ruth's children Layne, Dale, and Brian Stevens, Patricia Olsen, and grandchildren.

Viewing and Visitation Will be held at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite, TX. 1111 Military Pkwy. Oct 28. Private time for family will begin at 5:00 pm. Friends will be received beginning at 6:00 pm and will conclude at 8:00.

The Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home Oct. 29 at 2:00 pm, with processional following, to Grove Hill Cemetery on Samuell Blvd for internment.
