Adelina Porras Marquez, age 93 passed away on Saturday July 11, 2015. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Frank Marquez Jr. Sister of the late Enrique Porras, late Benino Porras, late Julia Porras, late Emila Rodas. Survived by brothers and sisters Hijinio Porras, Jose Porras, Blandina Porras, Dorinda Fiallos, Felicia Moreno and Benita Cruz. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and God-daughters and sons.
A native of Cuba, she moved to the United States in 1948 later became American citizen 1969. She was a long time resident of New Orleans and Chalmette La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass at LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, LA on Wednesday July 15 , 2015 at 1:00 PM.
