Alan "Bunny" Robinson

Alan Jillson “Bunny” Robinson, age 88, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Leila Bridger Robinson; his parents William A. and Blanche J. Robinson and his brother Raymond H. Robinson. Survived by his children Barry A. Robinson, Beth R. Carroll and Linda R. Paquette; son in law Robert P. Carroll; grandchildren Brian A. Carroll, Bridget E. Carroll, Christian B. Paquette, Kelli C. Paquette and Paige L. Paquette; great grandchild Bailee R. Paquette, and his brother Kenneth B. Robinson. He graduted from Lusher Grammer School and Fortier High School and Riverside Military Academy before going to Tulane where he became Battalion Commander in the Naval ROTC Unit, as well as head cheerleader and President of Pi Kappa Alpha Faternity. A veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was active in Civitan’s while working in the family seafood canning business. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Private interment in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association preferred.
