Albert (Albie) J. Nelson entered into eternal rest on Monday August 1, 2016. Son of the late Louis E. Nelson Sr. and Helen S. Nelson. Brother of the late Frederick Nelson (late Marie), late Robert Nelson (late Emma), and the late Vera Johnston (late Alex). He is survived by his remaining siblings, Louis E. Nelson, Jr. (Pat), Gail Comeaux (late Anthony Sr.), and Cynthia Michel (Max Sr.) He was loved and adored by his many nieces and nephews. 64 years old, Albie worked over 30 years for the Hubig Pies Corporation and loved visiting his friends at Smitty’s Bar in New Orleans. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie LA 70006 on Monday August 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
