Albert Matthew Taylor was born in New Orleans on July 9, 1931 to the late, retired detective John E. Taylor, Sr. and Myrtle Wiebelt Taylor. He was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Albert was the brother of the late Elmera Todesco and John E. Taylor, Jr. He was the loving cousin of Gerard J. Ledet, Jr., Emily L. Ray, Carl J. Ledet, Sr., and Jan L. Schnieder and is survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am and continue until the Services begin. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Orleans. Condolences may be offered at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
