Alexander "Sonny" Bowman Jr.

Alexander "Sonny" Edmund Bowman, Jr. peacefully passed away on January 8, 2014 at the age of 76 years old. He was married to Jackie Bourgeois Bowman for 55 years. He was the son of the late Alexander "Sandy" Bowman Sr. and Leonie Kuylen Bowman. Survived by his four children, sons Brent Bowman, Alex Bowman, and Noel Bowman; daughter Patricia Bowman (Henson). Grandfather of Tiffany Henson, Jonathan Henson, Christopher Bowman, Stacy Bowman (Conrad), Jonathan Bowman, Ashley Bowman, Emory Bowman, Jackson Bowman and the late Cayden Bowman, Maddoux Bowman and Maison Bowman. Great Grandfather of Quinn Conrad, Lucas Conrad, Gunner Conrad, Cameron Bowman, Braxton McWilliams, Connor Henson. Siblings include three sisters, the late Lolita Womac, Marion Bowman, Carol Bowman. He owned and operated Bowman's Nu Cleaners' for 50 years and was proud to be responsible for the cleaning of our beloved New Orleans Saints Jerseys. He was born in Belize C.A. in 1937 and had a passion for deep sea fishing and enjoying the family camp in Grand Isle. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be from 1-3pm. Interment will be private.
