Dawn, Mike and JJ,
Karen and I extend our deepest sympathies to you after the passing of aunt Alice. She was one of my favorites. When we lived in New Orleans she and your father were always ready to lend us a helping hand whether it be suggestions about house maintenance or advice about gardening in Louisiana. I can remember her all the way back to early childhood and looked forward to seeing her. I remember one time when I was very young she made, I think it was meringue. I was on a sugar high that I remember to this day. She was always cheerful and willing to talk about anything; I learned a lot from her. May she rest in peace.
