Allen Raymond Gautreaux passed away peacefully on Monday morning, December 18, 2017. He was 79 years old. Beloved husband of Judy Viator Gautreaux for over 58 years. Loving father of Mitch Gautreaux (Kay), André Gautreaux (Melissa), and the late Whitney Gautreaux. Grandfather of Michelle, Matthew, Amelie, and Alyse Gautreaux and Tyler and Paige Winters. Brother of the late Claude Gautreaux, Eloise Simoneaux, Lillian Perez, E.J. Gautreaux, and Oscar Gautreaux. Son of the late Ellis Gautreaux and Edna Dugas Gautreaux. Allen graduated from Destrehan High School and retired from Flowers Bakery (the successor of Jack’s Cookies) after many years of sales. Allen was well loved by many and never met a stranger. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Friday afternoon, December 22, 2017 at 1:00.
