Mr. Allen J. Wilkins

Allen J. Wilkins entered his heavenly home on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the age of 53. Allen was an auto estimator inspector with State Farm. He was the husband and best friend of Susan Nunez Wilkins. Devoted father of Kristin Wilkins Sessums (Staff Sgt. John David). “Poppy” to Molly Elizabeth and Emily Ann Sessums. Son of Geneva Schoeny Swain of Illinois and Clarence Wilkins (Linda). Brother of Debbie Wilkins Allman (David), Mark Wilkins (Connie) and the late Sylvia Wilkins Underwood. Son-in-law of the late Richard A. Nunez, Sr. and Anna G. Nunez. Brother-in-law of Rebecca Nunez Pilié (Louis) and Richard A. Nunez Jr. (Carol). Also survived by 5 nieces and 6 nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his homegoing in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
