Proud grandmother of David Meyers, Tammy Riffe, GiGi Cortez, Eric Meyers, Cory Marcel, Sean Wilt, Rocky Wilt Jr., Aimeé Wilt and the late Russell “Moosie” Marcel Jr.

Sister of Ida Baracco, Edith Marrero, Mary Smith, Ann Alleman, Bobbie Lookingbill, P.J. Marrero Jr. and the late Ernestine Dale and Anna Haydel.

Daughter of the late Ernestine Cistac and P.J. Marrero Sr.

Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Wilt was retired from D.H. Holmes Department Store after 20 years of service, a member of New Orleans Police Ladies Auxiliary and will be very missed, loved and cherished by all who knew her.

Aged 86 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for over 40 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Thursday afternoon August 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.

Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
