Amy Elizabeth Kruebbe

Amy Elizabeth Kruebbe passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born on February 19th, 1929 to the late Annetta Dell and Edward Augustus Rucker, Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years Gustave Anthony Kruebbe Sr. and her 1st born son Gustave Anthony Kruebbe Jr. Also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Edward A. Rucker, Bates B. Rucker, Robert M. Rucker and Ned W. Rucker and 1 sister Elizabeth Rucker, 2 grandchildren, Matthew Himel and Gabriel Kruebbe and 2 great grandsons Christopher Randall Kruebbe and Robert Wayne Kruebbe, III. She is survived by her 10 remaining children and their spouses, Bonnie Kerner (Frank), Amy Himel (Butch), Annetta Scherer (the late Donald J Scherer, Sr), Nanette Miller (John), Robert Kruebbe (Rhonda), Pamela Ebersole (Tim), Susan Ghawaly (Jimmy), Cherie Guillot (Dean), Michele Kruebbe, and Wayne Kruebbe (Kendra). Also survived by a daughter-in-law Cynthia Kruebbe (wife of the late Gustave A. Kruebbe, Jr.), a sister-in-law Margaret Rucker and a half-sister Marie Rucker Dendy. She is survived by 39 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Garden of Memoires Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until service time. Inurnment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
