

Born June 25, 1980, in Richmond, Virginia, to James (Jim) and Carole Christman, Andy was a graduate of St. Christopher’s School, where he was a member of the International Thespian Society. He acted in thirteen productions for Ampersand, the St. Christopher’s and St. Catherine’s School drama society, and won the school award for Excellence in Theatre. He graduated from Boston University and worked in finance for a number of years. Andy lived in Chicago and St. Paul, Minnesota, where he met his wife, Naomi Rosener. They moved together to New Orleans in 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi; his parents, Jim and Carole; and his brother, Dan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Andy was gifted. He possessed a keen mind and a sharp wit. He could quote literature and movies with aplomb, and loved laughing with his many friends. Notable for his bright smile, his resonant voice, and his kindness and generosity, Andy was a gentleman of the finest caliber and a true friend. He was a dynamic writer, a hilarious conversationalist, a loyal confidante, and a loving husband.
A celebration of life will be held February 22, 2026, 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Napoleon House, 500 Chartres St., New Orleans.
