Anna Marie Previte Gentry went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at her home. She was 79. Anna was born in New Orleans, LA on July 18, 1946, and was a resident of Kenner, LA for many years. She was an Administrative Assistant for Freeport McMoRan for over 40 years. Anna was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and was a beloved and devoted grandmother.
Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Murray James Gentry; and her parents, Rocco and Theresa Previte.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Erin Gentry Upton (Phil Upton) and Sara Gentry DePoorter (Eric DePoorter); her grandchildren, Lily, Savanna, McKenzie, Johnny, Sara, Dane, Adam, and Rose; her siblings, Anthony Rocco Previte (Carla Previte) and Joseph Charles Previte. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to especially thank her cousin, Joanne Douroux for the care and support throughout the years.
