Annette Lucille Jones Jones Robichaux

Annette Lucille Jones Robichaux passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Merritt Jones, Sr. and Mary Adeline Rodebaugh Jones, and her siblings, Adeline Walther, Dorothy Tramontana, Fred Jones, Jr., Gloria Gaudet and Mary Olivier. During her marriage to Bennett “Benny” A. Robichaux, she bore 7 children: Bennett A. Robichaux, III (Carmen), Cheryl de Lassus (Emile), Karen Badeaux (Glenn), Janet Stains (Charles), Annette Gruner (Ricky), Blake Robichaux (Janice) and Brad Robichaux. Loving grandmother to Mike Robichaux (April), Paul Robichaux, Bryan Robichaux (Brandilynn), Matthew de Lassus, Russell de Lassus (Elizabeth), Curtis de Lassus, Rachele Stains, Victoria Stains, Stephanie Stains, Brandon Badeaux (Shala), Devin Gruner, Daniel Gruner, and Kaitlyn Robichaux. Great-grandmother to Ali, Gage, Joseph J. and Ariel Robichaux; Talia, Olivia and Stella de Lassus and Regina Stains. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Annette was born in New Orleans, LA and graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School in 1943. She was a dedicated member of Catholic Daughters and past president and treasurer of the Mother’s Club at Our Lady of Divine Providence in Metairie. For the past nine years, she has lived in Mandeville.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
