Arthur Frank Bernard IV

Arthur “Artie” Frank Bernard, IV passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his home. He was born on September 18, 1969 to Karen Faucheaux and Arthur “Cooter” Frank Bernard, III . Beloved husband of Arlana “Jo” Soileau Bernard. Devoted father of Kayla Noel Bernard. Brother of Kim Bernard Fudge (Rusty) and the late Chad Anthony Bernard. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by cousins and other family members.

Artie had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local Lodge #37 and a resident of River Ridge, LA. He loved fishing, crabbing and all of his pets.

Relatives, union brothers and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
