Dear Aunt Shiela and Family,
I'm heart broken to hear of my uncle's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I love all of you. I so love my Uncle and will miss him dearly. My childhood memory that takes me back to NOLA has to do with a song...Uncle was sick and my daddy packed us all up in the car and drove us from Wyoming to NOLA. I was walking with the other kids near your home and we were listening to one of those portable radios that we use to carry as kids, and the song that played that continues to take me back to NOLA and being with all of you is...Too Late to Turn Back Now by Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose...I so love this song and will continue to think of all of you and my Uncle Auggie each time I listen to it. I'm sure he and my daddy along with the rest of the family are catching up on some lost time. I love you all, God bless you and keep you safe and comfort your broken hearts. Nanette and family

Uncle Augie, I remember as a kid, mom and dad would take us kids to Louisiana to visit you and aunt Sheila,"lil" Augie, Gary and Sherry. I remember one particular time you took me, Joe, and dad fishing .Me and Joe had so much fun in your boat, feeling the waves splashing in our faces, we were laughing, but dad thought the boat was going to flip!!! We talk about that fishing trip to this day. We love you ,uncle Augie and you will always be in our hearts. Thanks for those great memories.
