Barbara (Sissy) Wheeler Aucoin on October 29, 2010. Wife of the late Robert L. Aucoin. Beloved mother of Robert C. (Jennifer) and J. Barrett Aucoin (Libby). Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles J. Wheeler. Sister of Robert Charles, and C.J. Wheeler. Grandmother of Brooke, Morgan, Peyton, Abbey, Rachel and Melanie. Great grandmother of Tyler and Kaitlyn. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Age 63. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie Manor Retirement Home. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway on Thursday November 4, 2010 at 11:00 am with visitation on Wednesday November 3, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Thursday. Interment in Lakelawn Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
