Barbara Messina Migliore, age 68, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012. Mrs. Migliore was a native and lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. Beloved wife of Leonard R. Migliore, Sr. for 48 years. Mother of Leonard R. Migliore, Jr. (Heidi Jensen) and Gerard Migliore (Daniell Thompson). Grandmother of Amanda, Abigail, Allison, Andrew (Leslie), Nicolaas, Derek, Daniel and Dominique. Great grandmother of Ava and also Mrs. Migliore has a great grandchild due to come into this world very soon, her granddaughter, Amanda is the expectant mother. Daughter of the late Salvador and Barbara Solito Messina. Sister of Mary M. Brown, Salvador Messina and the late Catherine M. Cyrus. Sister-in-law of Donna M. Migliore and Alan M. Migliore. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, March 3, 2012 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
