Barry John Mumford, 67, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at his home in Kenner, LA following a bout with cancer. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Linda (Strahan) Mumford; his daughter, Stacey Mumford Roth (James Roth); two granddaughters Lindsay and Whitney Roth, 2 brothers Bill (Mona) and Bruce Mumford (Ann), and many other family members and close friends. Born and raised in New Orleans, the son of William and Claire Morris Mumford, he was a lifelong resident of Kenner. He served his country in the National Guard and worked for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60 for 26 years.
