It is with a very heavy heart that we announce Bernard C. “Donnie” Donellan, Jr. lost his battle with heart disease on Monday, February 20, 2017. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date. Jackie would like to say thank you to the St. Charles EMS team, the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office, the Luling Fire Department, St. Charles Parish Hospital and East Jefferson General Hospital for their services. And a special thanks for the prayers, phone calls and wonderful words from family and friends. Donnie is survived by his wife Jackie, son Steven, daughter-in-law Sarah, nieces Traci and Michelle, nephew Patrick, his beloved dog Katie and many loving friends and extended family. Graveside service and inurnment will be on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
