Mrs. Bessie P. Haggerty

Bessie P. Haggerty entered into heaven on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Raymond L. Haggerty, Jr. Mother of Daniel R. Haggerty (Deborah) and Patti Jung. Loving grandmother of Daniel R. Haggerty, Jr. (Melanie). Proud great-grandmother of Drew Daniel Haggerty and Brandon Michael Haggerty. Sister of Nickolas Piazza. Sister-in-law of Ronald J. Haggerty (Joan), Dianne Frieman (Sid), Teena Doria (John) and Anna Mae Haggerty. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends, her special friend Joseph Reis and his loving daughters, Kathy, Debbie and Betty. Daughter of the late Nickolas Piazza and Patricia Romano Piazza and sister-in-law of the late Dale Piazza and John and Jack Haggerty.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of the Atrium for the last 2 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until mass time. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
