Betty Ann Petrie Creger

Betty Ann Petrie Creger passed away peacefully in her home on Monday evening, January 18, 2016 with her loving husband of 59 years by her side, John “Ned” Creger. She was the loving mother of David Creger (Jennifer) and Sharon Ocokoljic (Milo). Grandmother of Stana and Milos Ocokoljic. Sister of Rosemary Marchese (Joseph). Daughter of the late Edward and Angelina Petrie. Betty was a native of New Orleans, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. She had an Associate’s Degree from Word of Faith Bible College, was a strong spiritual mentor to many women, and served as an active and founding member of The Vineyard Church in Kenner. She was an avid tennis player, a longtime member of Green Acres Country Club, and ranked first in the women’s singles division for several years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service from THE VINEYARD CHURCH, 4340 Sal Lentini Parkway, Kenner, on Saturday morning, January 23, 2016 at 10:30.
