Betty Funk had one of the biggest hearts and loved so many. She gracefully helped out anyone she could and made friends with everyone. She passed away at only 72 years young, as she would say. A strong and long journey and legacy she left behind as she was a fighter and fought for what she loved. Betty collected many memories to continue what she left behind; A son, granddaughter/daughter, 2 grandkids, 1 great granddaughter, 1 brother, 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday, October 5, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home's chapel.
