Betty Quin Giovingo

Betty Quin Giovingo, age 62, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, 2011. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved daughter of Ella Dominquez Quin and the late Claude Quin. Sister of Connie Morreale, Claude Quin, Robert Quin and the late Linda Quin Landry. Loving aunt and so much more to 8 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. Betty touched so many lives, especially children’s with her own childlike enthusiasm and her generous spirit. Her brightest ray of sunshine was the complete loving and nurturing relationship she shared with her nephew Gage, which brought both of them so much happiness and laughter. Betty was the co-owner of the Cabin Lounge in Metairie for over 25 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 beginning at 11:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
