Betty Aupied Jackson

Beloved wife of the late Allen D. Jackson, Sr. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Jackson Boudreaux (Mark), Christine Ann Jackson, and the late Allen D. Jackson, Jr. Loving grandmother to Emily and Renee Boudreaux. Cherished sister of Gerald Aupied and Nancy Aupied Vicknair (Harold). She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Gaston Aupied.

Betty was a longtime parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church in Metairie, LA and a 1961 graduate of Charity School of Nursing. An exceptional seamstress, Betty was a founding member of the "Sewing Seams of Faith" group at St. Ann Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church and Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Dr., Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00am until 11:00am. Inurnment will be private for family in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request masses or donations to St. Ann's Sewing Seams of Faith, in her name.
