Betty Ann Chauffe Shephard

Betty Ann Chauffe Shephard, age 87, went to Heaven on Sunday, January 14, 2024 in Tickfaw, LA. She was born in New Orleans, LA on September 24, 1936. She was married to the late Floyd Shephard Sr. Her parents were Norman A. Chauffe Sr. and Anna Rose Chauffe. She is preceded in death by Andrew Johnson and Mary Aguilar. She is survived by her sister, Adrian McCarthy; her children, Wanda Johnson, Edward Johnson, Donna Grayson, Norman Shephard (wife, Mary Shephard), Anna Shephard, Floyd Shephard Jr. (wife, Julie Shephard), John Shephard, (wife, Diana Shephard) and Troy Shephard (wife, Belinda Shephard). She was survived by ten children, seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday morning, January 26, 2024 beginning at 9:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
