Beverly Fontana Baldwin

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Irwin Gerard Baldwin and her parents, Xiriffa “Peggy” and Vincent Fontana.

Beverly is survived by her beloved children, Peggy Ann Gorman, Rodney Gerard Baldwin, Joanne Gerardlyn Flanagan, Bill Martin Baldwin, and Brenda Baldwin Dean, grandchildren, Tammi Springer, Laci Ronco, James Ronco, Esther Neal, Elizabeth Fenn, Beverly Beale, Bryce Gorman, Taylor Gorman, Vincent Baldwin, Gerard Baldwin, and Martin Baldwin, and great-grandchildren, Mya, Talia, Cameron, Zoe, Faith, Jeremiah, Josiah, Jude, James, Mariela, Vincent, Roman, and Tycen.

Beverly married to her high school sweetheart, Irwin Baldwin in 1950 and together they shared 65 loving years. Beverly had many talents but she was most known for being a skilled cake decorator. She had a successful decorating career for 30 years, working at McKenzie's, Lawrence's, and Dorignac's. She took pride in every cake she decorated until she retired in 2002. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM with a service to begin at 1PM.
