Beverly Ann Koontz Delcarpio

Beverly Ann Koontz Delcarpio, 65, of Metairie, LA passed away at East Jefferson Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Beverly was born on January 22, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was adored by all who knew her. Beverly is survived by her husband of 32 years, Allan Delcarpio. Her three loving children: Cecil Woods II, of Rhome, TX, Ross Woods and wife Cindy of Metairie and Carol Ann Woods of Marrero. Ten grandchildren: Cecilia Marcour, Heather Woods, Megan Woods, Kalin Petrolia, Ross Woods Jr., Christopher Woods, Destinee Woods, Marie Farmer, Willie Farmer Jr., John Farmer, and 16 great grandchildren. Her lovely adopted mother Eunice Phillips of Vicksburg, MS, sister Anita C. Wascom of Greensburg, brothers Keith and Steve Cannon of Union, MS. Father Ed Kootnz of Pine Grove. Preceded in death by mother Marie Cheeks Bankston, grandmother and grandfather Maudie Mae and Ernest Cheeks. Brother David Koontz and sister Carol Gibson. Mother and father-in-laws Sissy and Jr. Delcarpio. Beverly lived a loving, fulfilling life and will be truly missed by all. She touched the lives of all her family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 12:00 pm.
