Beverly Spiegel Lopez, age 78, entered into rest on Monday, May 5, 2025. Beverly was a native of Rochester, NY and was a longtime resident of Metairie, LA and Bridge City, LA. Mother of Brian Lopez (Libby). Grandmother of Dylan Lopez. Sister of Mary S. Henderson (Donald) and the late Patti. Aunt of Suzanne Henderson, Brad (Jackelyn), Lillian, the late Jason, the late William J. Henderson Sr. (Teresa), Christine Carter (Brian), Andrew Dawson, Kaleb Henderson, Timothy Henderson (Denise), Ada Grace Henderson, Matthew Henderson (Chantal), Jaden Henderson, Bryson Henderson, Joseph Henderson (Christine), Hailey Henderson, Bella Henderson, Ellie Rose Henderson, William Henderson Jr., Michelle, Pam and Jim. Cousin of Star and Lovette. Daughter of the late Gordon and Kathleen Spiegel. Former wife of the late Eddie Lopez.

Beverly was blessed with wonderful friends who loved her. She loved animals, taking in strays, feeding racoons and the neighborhood cats. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home. 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Tuesday June 3, 2025 beginning at 3:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
