Billy Gene Pullen

Billy Gene Pullen entered into the gates of heaven on Saturday, November 19, 2011 after having cancer. Beloved husband of Veleada Bernice Sams Pullen for the past 64 years. Loving father of Jeanie P. Odenwald, Richard Pullen (wife, Kellie), Terry Pullen (wife, Helen), Kathy Pullen, Debbie P. Mouton (husband, Frank) and the late William Pullen and son-in-law Billy Odenwald. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary Pauline Wright Pullen and Alfred Pullen. Brother of Bobby Pullen and the late Catherine P. Harkins.

Age 81, a native of Charleston, Missouri and a resident of River Ridge for the past 12 years. Retired from Tri-Gas, La Porte, TX, a member of Teamster Local 270 of New Orleans, Teamsters Local 968 of La Porte, TX and Square & Compass Lodge 417.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie.
