Billy Roser

Wilhelm P.H.”Billy” Roser III passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Cheryl Bayer Roser. Loving father of Cole P. Roser. Son of Catherine Wilson Roser and the late Wilhelm P.H. Roser Jr. Son-in-law of the late Arthur L. Bayer Jr. and JoAnne Gonsoulin Bayer. Brother of Elizabeth C. Roser, Ann Marie Alberado (John) and Edward J. Roser. Brother-in-law of Arthur Bayer (Judy) and Christine Tadlock (Paul). Also survived by a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Roser was an Automobile Salesman. He was an avid bowler and competitive pool player for many years and loved LSU and Saints Football. His favorite pastime was watching his son play basketball for Pope John Paul II High School. He lived for high school basketball season to watch his son play. He was grateful to have received a kidney transplant 18 years ago and was an advocate for organ donation. He would encourage everyone to become organ donors to help others to live longer happier lives as he did. He will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him. Aged 53 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, former resident of Picayune, Mississippi and most recent resident of Slidell, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, on Friday afternoon, October 25, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. Until time of the service.
