Mr. Billy Wayne Stone

Beloved husband of Carolyn for 44 years, Bill was a loving father to his four children David Andrew (and wife, Catherine), Michael Wayne (and wife, Andrea), Kristen Leigh Klein (and husband, Jason) and the late James Gregory; and devoted “Paw-Paw” to his seven grandchildren. He was raised in Birmingham, Alabama with his sisters Francis Freeman (and husband, Ray), Carol Silas (and husband, James) and the late Peggy Harrell.

Mr. Stone was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 0267 in Jefferson, Louisiana. A resident of Harahan for the last 40 years, Bill was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his many friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana on Thursday July 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

Visitation will begin at1:00 p.m.
