Bonita Arleen Ouellette

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonita Arleen Ouellette of Bella Vista, Arkansas. She passed away surrounded by family on June 11, 2026, at the age of 69, following a battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Her strength of character has always been one of her best qualities, and it was never on display more than in recent months.

Bonita was the third of four children born to Lewis and Peggy Webster of Light, Arkansas. She was born on January 20, 1957, a birthday she shared with her older sister, Jan. She attended Stanford Schools, where she met her lifelong best friend, Joan Newberry. Most stories of Bonita involve a grand adventure, a wry sense of humor, and a sparkling joie de vivre - a carefree enjoyment of life and a contagious, positive spirit. Her work with L.A. Darling led to friendships, trips abroad, and a handsome Canadian named Mark, whom she married in 2002.

While she spent time enjoying the outdoors and creating stained glass masterpieces, her greatest joy was her family. She could often be found with grandchildren baking treats, playing in the water, coloring Easter eggs, or snuggling in the rocking chair. Nana is the role she held most dear.

She is survived by her children, Theresa Michelle Williams (Erin) and Tony Harris (Tara), her grandchildren, Myranda Rannals (Seth), Kane Williams, Reuben Harris, and Jillian Harris, and 7 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jasper, Piper, Jaylynn, Grayson, Logan, and Londyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeanette Cothren (Greg), George Webster, and Joe Webster (Cindy). She is predeceased by her husband, Mark Ouellette, her parents, Lewis and Peggy Webster, and her great-grandson, Archer Huffman.

She leaves behind an unmatched legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. As we mourn her loss, we know that her warmth and compassion will live on in everyone who knew her.
