Bryan Joseph Sentilles II, 30, entered this world with a loving family on October 14, 1982 and went to sleep in God's everlasting arms at his home on May 25, 2013. He was a graduate of Ridgewood Prep High School in June 2000 where he enjoyed playing football and baseball and continued his education at Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Sports Medicine in May 2007.
Beloved son of Patti Royerre Sentilles and Bryan Joseph Sentilles (Brenda). Brother of Brett Jude Sentilles and Bradley Jon Sentilles. Loving grandson of Elsie Lipps Davis and husband Hank C. Davis. Grandson of Frank P. Royerre and wife Rita Magnuson Royerre. Also survived by his uncles Frank S. Royerre (Debby), best buddy and pal Albert D. Royerre (Margaret), and Mark K. Royerre (Melissa). Also survived and dearly loved by several cousins Ashley, Lauren, Camille and twins, Rachel and Michael.
Bryan was also the grandson of Barbara M. Sentilles and the late Saar Jude Sentilles. He'll be dearly missed by Wayne Sentilles (Debbie), Terry Sentilles (Linda), deceased Ricky Sentilles, Robert Sentilles (Sheila), Nancy Sentilles Gleber (Johnny), and Penny Sentilles Abreo (Aaron) and many cousins Danielle, Wayne Jr., Jonathan, Kristy, Amber, Lauren, Christopher, Jimmy, Michael, Mark, Andrew and Grant. Thanks to Cookie and Joe Hood, Bryan’s good friends and neighbors.
Bryan loved his career working for EMPI, a DJO Global Company, which is a leading manufacturer and provider of non-invasive medical products for pain management and physical rehabilitation. Bryan enjoyed helping people recover from injuries and regaining their strength and health.
Bryan was a good, kind and loving person who enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. Every weekend he was with family and friends in Uncle Al's airboat or Granny's camp fishing with his faithful canine companion Maddox. Bryan was very passionate about sports and loved the Saints. He watched all the games and cheered them on every step of the way especially when Bryan and his Uncle Frank were in Miami watching the Saints become the Champions of Super Bowl 44 in February 2010.
As a young boy growing up, Bryan played baseball with many teams – Lafreniere Pilney Little League, Highway Park Huskies, Kenner Dizzy Dean Allstars, Kenner Babe Ruth Allstars, Legion Summer League, and the Ridgewood Eagles Baseball Team.
As one of his coaches once said, “There wasn’t a ball hit in the outfield that Bryan could not catch. He put everything he had into baseball”.
Son, thank you for your love, your kindness, your awesome spirit, your jovial attitude, your friendly demeanor and your ability to work hard at a job you cared about. Thank you for giving and leaving us with a lot of you in us. You were the most unselfish person and will be sorely missed. On this day, the day you left us to be with the Lord, this world, our world is forever changed. I think I speak for everyone that had the joy of knowing you that we have all been truly blessed to have known you. Rest forever more...somewhere over the rainbow.
