She also served as a volunteer with the NAMI Louisiana Support Group for many years.
Carol’s passion for life extended beyond the classroom. She loved to travel, and her journeys took her to many corners of the world, where she embraced new cultures, cuisines, and experiences. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Gregory Duplantier. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Santiago J. Llull; their children, Stephanie Jeanfreau (Mike), Jennifer Ledet (Brian), and Christian Llull (Lindsay); and her three cherished grandchildren, CeCe, Michael, and Olivia. She is also survived by siblings, Steve Duplantier (Ghislaine), Michael Duplantier (Bettye), Don Duplantier, Lynn Duplantier Barlotta (Sam), and Daniel Duplantier (Mickie).
A loving matriarch, Carol was a constant source of wisdom, laughter, and support to her family who will miss her deeply.
