Carole Ann Egler Ormiston

Carole Ann Egler Ormiston, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was an employee at the IBM Corporation for 30 years. She was also a manager at Burnham Service for 15 years. Carole will always be remembered in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who was devoted to her family and was a wonderful person in every possible way. Her love, loyalty, devotion, dedication, thoughtfulness and generosity were on full display every day of her life. She also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. It is very difficult to lose a person as lovely as our angel Carole.

She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dick Dunlap and is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Chad Ormiston, her sons, Scott Egler and Keith Egler, her daughters, Kim Ormiston and Misty Ormiston, grandchildren, Kaeli Blackwell, Jason Egler, Sarah Egler and Zachary Egler, and her siblings, Joyce "Tina" Dunlap, Janice Lanner, and Michael DiPippa. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Tam Ormiston, Tad Ormiston, and Jim Lanner, sisters-in-law, Lisa Leiden and Polly Ormiston, nephews, John Ormiston and Justin Ormiston, and nieces, Kyla Wheeler, Jevonee Kilzi, Alana Ormiston, Kari Ormiston and Kati Capella.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will held from 11AM - 1PM with a prayer service to begin at 1PM.
