It is with great heartache that we had to say goodbye to our angel on earth Carolyn Lilliman at the young age of 73. Carolyn passed away peacefully July 02, 2020 while doing something she loved- gardening.
Carol was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and enjoyed every moment with them. Each time she would see them her eyes would light up and she would embrace them with excitement. She also loved her siblings very much, one of whom she called mother, (granny).
Carol's love had no boundaries and her heart was never too full. She saw the good in all and treated everyone as her own. She especially loved her role as grandma to everyone she met. She never missed an opportunity to tell someone she loved them. There was not one person that met her that didn’t fall in love with her as well. To know her was to love her.
She will forever be remembered by her husband of 56 years, Kermit Lilliman, Sr. She was the most loving mother there was to Rachel and Danny Ancalade, Sharmon and Frank Romero, Kermit Lilliman Jr., and the late Ruthie Lilliman. She was the best grandmother to Joshua Lilliman Sr, Valicity Ponce’, Kaeley Viera, Corrinn Bodden, Audrey Lilliman, Porter Lilliman, Bethany Castle, Francisco Romero Jr., and Brandon Marse. She had many great grandchildren, 11 siblings and a host of nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a celebration of Carol’s life that will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 1:00pm. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Gramercy, 1046 N. Airline Ave., Gramercy, Louisiana 70052. If possible, please wear a white or a light colored shirt or dress. In lieu of floral arrangements, we kindly ask that you bring something that can be planted or placed in her memorial garden.
