Catherine Cecelia Wiemann Guise, age 87, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Guise, Jr. Loving mother of Edward J. III (Susan) and James G. (Gloria) Guise. Grandmother of Beau, Brian, and Andrew (Susana) Guise and Colleen (Brandon) Zanek. Step grandmother of Jennifer (William) England, Amy and Heather Keller. Great grandmother of Danielle and step great grandmother of Deja, Delano and Dylan. Daughter of the late John and Catherine Dever Wiemann. Sister of Mary and the late John, Cyril, Daniel and Audrey. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Catherine was a school teacher who later retired from Cintas. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church and will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, 1000 N. Starrett Rd., Metairie on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 11:20am. Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. on Saturday March 17, 2012 from 9:00am until 11:00am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
