Catherine Cat Passauer Hammock

Catherine Passauer “Parasol” Hammock, passed away on February 15, 2015, Catherine was 87 years of age, born and resided in New Orleans, Louisiana, Catherine attended St. Henry's Catholic School and Live Oak Elementry School. She made her 1st Communion and Confirmation at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church and was a long time parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church . She worked at Jose` Escalante and Company cigar factory , Wembley necktie plant and National Art and Hobby. Catherine is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents: Louis Passauer and Catherine Hammer Passauer, her brothers: Louis and Charles, her sisters: Edna, Lucille, Evelyn and her loving husband: Lionel. Catherine is survived by her sister Bertha, her sons: Thomas and Ronald and her daughter Cathy, daughter in law, Linda, grandchildren Aimee and Dianna, and great grandchild Avani and a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Evening Wake from 6:30pm to 10pm on Thursday February 19, 2015 at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd in Metairie. Visitation will be held on February 20, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 631State Street

New Orleans, Louisiana 70118 at 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at St. Vincent De Paul No. 2 Cemetery.
