She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Quartararo and Mary Collica Quartararo, her siblings, Andrew Quartararo, Theresa Graffia, Paula Mercante, and nephew, Kevin Mercante.
Catherine is survived by her nephews, Eugene Norton, Brian Norton, Paul Norton, Eric Norton, Daryl Mercante, Timothy Graffia, and Charles Graffia III, and niece, Maria Q Patterson.
Catherine was born in New Orleans and received a degree in education from Holy Cross College. She taught for over 40 years at Saint Rita's Catholic School. In her retirement years she cared for infants in a daycare setting.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 12PM – 1PM with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
